Atif is a freelance photographer based in Dubai. His work includes a variety of photographs and digital images related to fashion, architecture, urban spaces and aspects of life that surround him.
He graduated from the University College London with a first class degree in civil engineering and subsequently worked as a bridge designer and a structural engineer in London and Dubai. Regardless of his engineering background, Atif's love of arts and his need for a creative expression persisted throughout, which finally culminated in his breakaway from the chains of a daily routine and a headlong plunge into the abyss of freelance photography.
Although without a heavy mileage behind him, Atif has already managed to put together an impressive portfolio of work, some of which can be seen on both his web site and on his facebook page (see below for details).
His Rooms and Elephants blog, launched on 14 December 2010, is envisaged to have an "open doors" policy, serving as a platform for exchanging experiences, opinions, handy tips and generally spreading an interest in photography or any other form of creative expression.
Please feel free to contribute.
